Rejinald Cattery has existed for over 22 years and originally started in Moscow, Russia back in 1988. We breed for quality, never for quantity. Our cats are part of the family, they live in the house with us and our 2 dogs. We are located in Colorado Springs, CO (USA),
Natalia, the owner of Rejinald cattery, graduated from Moscow State University with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. She is a professional high school Science teacher. Natalia has 23 years of experience and knowledge regarding breeding. She chooses to own and breed only European imported cats. Excellent, healthy lines is the key to the classic look of plush, cheeky, stocky cats with the sweet "facial" expression.
We breed rare colors, and lilac is our specialty. It is a beautiful light taupe color, very rare in both British and Folded cats. We sell kittens as pets, as well as for breeding to selected homes, and small home based catteries.
Rejinald cattery started in Moscow, Russia, back in 1988. In 2000 a blue male and a lilac female were brought to the US. Our beautiful blue stud Zherminal is a heavy built, plush as a teddy bear beautiful boy. He also has amazingly deep copper eyes and gives this color to his offspring. His son, gorgeous lilac male RW SGC Rejinald Lilac Prince is a winner of many awards, including Best Lilac British Shorthair of the Year 2007-2008 (international win, TICA), 5th Best British Shorthair of the Year 2007-2008, and is one of the finest examples of the breed.
The queens (British Shorthair and Scottish Fold) are also of European origin and have ancestors from Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and Russia.
There are NO CAGES. All cats are strictly indoor. The kittens are raised in the house with other cats and 2 dogs. They are well socialized and friendly.
We are against declawing and early neutering. We primarily feed raw and promote raw feeding for carnivorous animals like cats and dogs. We try to keep our pets as natural as they can be.
