| Lacquer boxes is an old Russian craftmanship. They are both collectable and practical things for storing jewelry or any other little treasures. Professional artist hand paints an image on black box, then box is lacqured several times and each layer of lacquer is polished by hand. It gives a glossy look to the lid and protects the beautiful image for many years to come. The time required for creating one box can be from several hours to several days. The artists use inlaid mother of pearl, color foil, liquid gold, glitter and other materials to create unique, one-of-a-kind look. Almost every original box is signed by artist. You can also order a box with image of your cat or other pet. We do customs orders. A professional artist handpaints a picture of your pet on a black laquet jewelry box. (see picture below) |
